VAG OBD Box – Volkswagen, Skoda, SEAT & Cupra Key Programming

OBD key programming for a specified part of the VAG range.

What it does

This VAG Box is listed for programming replacement keys and copying a supported working key on Volkswagen, Skoda, SEAT and Cupra applications. Audi and fully electric vehicles are expressly excluded from this version. The catalog also lists an alarm-related programming function.

How it works

The box communicates with supported key-system electronics through OBD II. The requested task must match the vehicle's key system and software. Copying support requires a working key; it does not establish support for an all-keys-lost situation.

Software & accessories

Regular firmware updates for 2022–2024 applications are advertised. The listing references V2.60 and later software, AVDI and VAG Commander, but does not establish supplied licences or adapters. Confirm the installed firmware, current update eligibility and required software before ordering. The listed possibility of reusing certain service keys is application-dependent, not a promise that any key can be reused.
