What it does

The MARK XL uses micro-percussion, also called dot-peen marking, to create marks directly in a suitable material. The catalog lists alphanumeric text, logos, 2D Data Matrix codes and QR codes. Its 120 × 40 mm marking window defines the available marking area.

How it works

A tungsten-carbide stylus delivers successive impacts to form the selected mark. This creates an indentation pattern rather than printing ink onto the surface. Mark quality depends on the material, surface and correct setup; ask us to confirm suitability for your part and the required code format.
